Young team, big ambition
Our goal is to help Estonians save money on their electricity bills in today's increasingly expensive world, so that life remains just as comfortable, but costs are lower. We make the complex energy system as simple and automated as possible, so you don't have to track prices or worry.
A future where every electricity consumer - be it a homeowner, apartment association or company - can be an active participant in the energy market, not just a bill payer. We want consumption and production to be manageable simply and transparently, so that smart decisions are accessible to everyone, not just energy sector professionals.
Volton started from two high school students, Tristan and Joonatan's, high school practical work. They studied in the same class in the engineering direction, and their practical work focused on smart devices that track exchange prices. When defending the work, they received such strong feedback from the commission that they decided to really move forward with the idea, registered their company and started building Volton.

Today, from an idea that started at a school desk, a solution has grown that helps over 500 Estonian homes reduce their electricity bills.
